Position Overview
We are currently seeking to fill the position of Teacher of Business Education at Stewart’s Melville College on a permanent basis from 14 August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is full time, term time, and remuneration will be on the ESMS Teaching Staff Salary Scale A (£34,508 - £49,977 per annum). The role is based at Queensferry Road.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Business Education, with a strong commitment to bringing out the best in students. They will be GTCS registered, possess excellent communication and time-management skills, and handle situations calmly and professionally. A passion for fairness, respect, and resilience, along with a desire to help students succeed, are key attributes for this role.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
