Main Responsibilities: To provide first line user support to staff as required using the management information systems, including dealing with operational problems such as password resets and account setup. Monitor and respond to issues raised in the centralised support system. To assist in developing and implementing new projects. To support the design, development and maintenance of the Trust’s management information systems. To support for dealing with user problems on the data management systems, including training staff to create, amend and maintain reports as requested by Users and Managers. To support the Data, Quality and Systems Managers with regular and ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as quality assurance checks. To support the team promoting equality and diversity in the workplace and delivering services which are accessible and appropriate to the diverse needs of service users. To attend formal ICT related training through a designated training provider and successfully achieve the required ICT qualification. Desirable Skills: No desired skills and qualifications per se, though we are interested in any relevant side projects, passions or experiences that link to the role (and any portfolio work would be appreciated at interview) – we are mostly interested in attitude and commitment to the process. Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who has the following personal qualities - Strong Work Ethic Enthusiastic Good Communication Skills Self-Motivator Conscientious A Team Player Independent Good Interpersonal Skills Desired Qualifications: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
