We have ambitious plans and are looking for an experienced and people-centric Sales Leader with strong industry experience to lead our internal and external sales teams.
As Head of Sales you will be accountable for the leadership of the PTP sales operation across the UK, Europe, US and MENA ,including defining its overall vision and strategy for the future. The role will involve creating, developing, implementing and executing strategic sales plans,. You will be responsible for developing client relationships and empowering your sales team to meet the company and their personal objectives. As an ambassador of the company, you will represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events. It will be your responsibility to identify, report and engage with business opportunities in target markets.
You will represent the sales department at the Operational Board and play a crucial role in the success of the business.
The role
* Direct and accelerate the revenue growth for the company, being clear on priorities and measuring success.
* Accountability for delivering the Company targets on a monthly and annual basis, in line with the agreed business plan
* Provide an engaging, supportive and empowering environment for the sales team to thrive in.
* Work diligently and in close collaboration with key stakeholders, mainly the service delivery and finance functions.
Revenue & cost
Lead the sales team and ensure the Company’s sales, revenue, gross margin and profit targets are achieved
Manage your revenue and cost base to ensure that the business delivers the required revenues per service line within the defined budget
People
Lead and mentor a high performing sales team, providing guidance, motivation, reward, and support to ensure team-wide success
Focus leadership and development with your direct reports, ensuring they uphold the culture and values of the business and are able to channel this with the wider teams.
Ensure your direct reports deliver against their targets and objectives, holding them accountable and supporting high performance
Counsel, support and coach your direct reports to actively manage their teams
Lead by example; documenting discussions and sharing those documents, allocating actions with timely deadlines and holding to account
Reporting
Present relevant and accurate Management Information/data to drive continuous business performance
Provide monthly detailed reporting to the operational board
Provide dashboards to promote visibility of the sales team performance in real time
Actively measure and monitor success in your teams, using data to underpin key business objectives.
Process
To ensure the sales operation is process-driven, with all processes documented, communicated, shared openly and adhered to.
To consult on process change, ensuring our teams feel listened to and that they have contributed to change.
Ensure processes are harmonious with other departments across PTP.
Collaboration
To collaborate effectively with other departments, using data to drive business decisions.
To ensure that your team proactively takes ownership to help other departments resolve challenges that relate to sales
To contribute to new service development, bringing sales expertise and market knowledge to these
To provide analysis and solutions from customer feedback to help improve our offerings.
Strategy
Develop and deliver a strategy to ensure the business meets its targets en route to and after IPO
Plan and implement strategies for growth in US, European and MENA markets
Develop sales strategies to acquire new clients in high margin sectors
Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation
About you

Experience of leading and growing a sales team against ambitious growth plans
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Demonstrate excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Proven ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the company
