Be a member of a theatre team, providing support and assistance to professionally qualified staff and other team members. Responsibilities will include participating in patient care, equipment care, infection control, ancillary and clerical duties.

Due to the expansion in our emergency CEPOD provision, changes in staffing arrangements for our obstetric theatres and the development of a new theatre suite, several new posts are now available.
We are looking for flexible, highly motivated and caring Theatre Support Workers to join our busy Operating Theatre Department. In line with Trust policy, we support various flexible working options, where they can be sustained without being detrimental to our to our service provision.
The department has ten operating suites, three of which are laminar flow and one is an integrated vascular hybrid suite. Specialities undertaken include: Adults, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Colorectal, T&O, Vascular, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, ENT, Urology and more. We provide a 24hr emergency service, 7 days per week; as such shift patterns are available.
