As our Assistant Project Manager, you'll be the right hand to our Project Manager and learn everything you need to know about retail design! Based in Northampton, you'll be working closely with manufacturers and design teams to plan and steer projects through to completion, right through to the installation stage.
BASIC SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant Project Manager - Retail, Retail Design
As our Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in a hands-on capacity, working closely with manufacturers and clients at their units or retail construction sites.
Working on 3-4 projects at a time, you'll be immersed in the technical elements of the role, carrying out spot checks on the manufacturers work to ensure that high standards are maintained. You'll be actively involved in site visits, conducting surveys using Matterport and act as site contact during installations across the UK resolving any issues that may arise.
You'll also:
· Be working on project values worth c£100k-£300k, but could be involved in £1million projects
· Prepare reports, RAMS and installation documents, and presentations when needed
· Coordinate across all teams to ensure smooth project completion
· Work on projects for between 3-16 weeks
· Highlight any snagging or design / drawing changes to the design team
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Assistant Project Manager - Retail, Retail Design
It's likely that you've identified Project Management as your chosen career, and are likely an experienced Trainee Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Project Coordinator. You're eager to get out on site and take the next step in your career. You'll be working closely with the Project Manager and you'll be keen to absorb their expert industry knowledge.
You'll:
· Have experience running multiple projects at any given time
· Be confident attending customer, client, manufacturer site visits
· Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel
· Ideally have experience working on project management
· Hold a full, clean UK driving license
