Role Purpose
We are currently recruiting for a number of Electricians to join us on a permanent and full-time basis. This role will involve working as a team of electricians on a number of industrial and water industry programmed work. You will be working on strategic partner's sites across the Thames Valley region.
The Role
This is a permanent job role, contracted to 40hrs per week (on-site hours) Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. You will be paid for all travel time door to door.
1. To be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
2. Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards.
3. To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment.
4. To coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices.
5. Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values.
6. To act professionally and be an ambassador for Bridges.
Requirements
1. ECS gold card (essential).
2. Experience working in an industrial environment.
3. Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects.
4. Emergency first aid or First Aider.
5. Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
1. EUSR water hygiene.
2. Thames water passport.
3. Test and Inspect.
4. PASMA / IPAF / Confined space.
5. COMPEX.
6. Industrial and/or panel wiring experience.
7. Fitness to work medical.
