About the Role
The purpose of this Night Shift Operations Manager role is to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of operations on the night shift, as detailed below.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring full order completion in line with critical time dispatches
* Responsible for the night loading and trunking operation, liaising with the Transport Manager
* Meeting KPI targets both agreed upon and set with the General manager and Operations Director
* Working with and delivering agreed budget targets for staff costs and head counts
* Managing and controlling all aspects of production work carried out on the night shift
* Liaising with the Technical department
* Working on developing and improving the skill levels of all staff
* Reporting to weekly management meetings on all aspects of the night shift operations performance
* Overseeing the night input clerks, liaising directly with the Sales Office Support Manager
* Interacting with our customers through telephone communications
* Administrating holiday shift patterns in accordance with company policy, ensuring all necessary cover is in place
* Liaising with HR regarding timekeeping and absences and complying with the Company Absence Procedure & Policy, Discipline and Grievance.

Additional Information
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 20:00 - 06:00.
