Job Description: Help with Daily tasks within the IT department. Log tickets via phone or email into the support system. Act as first line for tickets – triage any faults and resolve if possible. Work with colleagues to escalate any tickets to gain a resolution. Help perform diagnostics to ascertain the root cause of a problem. Perform network diagnostics for WAN/LABN/WIFI issues. Work and create relationships with suppliers for procurement of items required by the IT department. Perform hardware diagnostics and parts replacement. Skills required: Understanding of IT and basic principles of networking Genuine interest in all aspects of IT. Personal Qualities: Confidence to take phone calls and document the issue Diligent and good at following instructions Prepared to work under own initiative. Working Week: 08:30 – 17:00 – Mon to Fri (30m mins for lunch) Training to be provided: Information Communication Technician Level 3 18 months. Required Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English grade 4 / C or above, Functional Skills Level 2 – or equivalent qualification Important Other Information: Location is very rural with no bus routes own transport is essential.
