The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and implementation. You will play a crucial role in driving digital construction excellence, ensuring seamless collaboration across design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement BIM strategies, protocols, and workflows across all projects.
2. Manage and maintain the company's BIM standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to coordinate 3D models and digital assets.
4. Oversee the integration of BIM with modular construction processes, improving efficiency and quality.
5. Provide training and support to internal teams on BIM software and best practices.
6. Work with external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless BIM collaboration.
7. Conduct clash detection and risk assessments to enhance project coordination.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in digital construction.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience as a BIM Manager or in a similar BIM leadership role within construction.
2. Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and other BIM-related software.
3. Understanding of modular construction techniques and their integration with digital workflows.
4. Experience with Common Data Environments (CDEs) and ISO 19650 standards.
5. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor teams.
6. Knowledge of sustainable and Net Zero construction is a plus.
About the benefits / rewards:
The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary between £50,000 - £60,000.
