Synechron is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Junior Murex Front Office Business Analyst with exposure to FX markets to join our Capital Markets IT team.
Joining an experienced and supportive team you will play a crucial role in optimising our clients Murex platform to support and enhance FX trading operations. You will work closely with front office users, building a deep understanding of the Murex system to deliver robust, innovative solutions that drive efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and define detailed business requirements for the Murex platform, focusing on FX trading
* Configure and optimize the front office components of Murex, including pre-trade workflows, pricing, and risk assessment features, for FX instruments
* Collaborate with traders to refine trading strategies, ensuring Murex functionalities are fully leveraged
* Facilitate the integration of Murex with other key systems, such as market data feeds, risk management, and settlement platforms
* Support the implementation and migration of FX products and ensure compliance with market regulations
* Provide expertise and guidance on the Murex platform to front office staff, including training and user support
* Work closely with IT development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any Murex-related issues impacting front office operations
Required Qualifications:
* x3 years of experience as a Murex Business Analyst, ideally with front office exposure
* Some understanding of front office trading processes and risk management principles related to FX
* Experience with Murex 3.1 or higher, particularly in the front office domain
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
Desirable Skills:
* Murex certifications or relevant training
* Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
* Knowledge of SQL and experience with reporting tools
* Understanding of recent regulatory changes affecting FX markets
This is a permanent role to join the Systems Integration Practice, based from our city office (x3 days in office).
