As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, combining your technical knowledge of heat pumps with your sales expertise to drive revenue growth. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. Your role will be crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving our sales objectives.
Geographical area: East of England
Covering Scotland, North East, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, East Anglia
Field based + Car/ Allowance
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering customized solutions.
* Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our heat pump solutions.
* Collaborate with the technical team and manufacturers to ensure product knowledge is up-to-date and to provide feedback on market needs and trends.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, generate leads, and promote our brand.
* Working with the internal sales team to prepare quotations to close sales and achieve revenue goals.
* Provide sales support, including product training and commissioning, to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Proven sales experience in the HVAC, renewable energy, or related industry is desirable but full training will be given.
* Strong understanding of heating solutions and energy-efficient technologies desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details in simple terms.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
* Valid UK driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and team members
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
