Working with a leading international company in nuclear, NRL are looking to recruit a highly dedicated Mechanical Supervisor. The role is site based on the Hinkley Point A on an initial 12-month contract.
What about the role:
As the dedicated supervisor, you will motivate and support work teams, ensuring they understand task requirements and receive appropriate pre-job briefs. The ideal candidate will oversee work quality, uphold company standards, manage sub-contractors, and conduct regular workplace inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining clean workspaces, and capturing feedback through post-job debriefs. The role demands a commitment to health, safety, wellbeing, respect, and inclusion, along with effective team performance management and resource planning. You will also be required to work within a radiologically controlled area that will include the requirement to wear specialised PPE, and at times, you would have to wear RPE, and as such must be clean.
What you will need:
* NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3, recognised apprenticeship training or relevant proven experience
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
* Demonstrable experience covering a wide range of engineering topics. Previous supervisory experience preferred
