Working as part of the clerical team within the Women and Children’s Department. Responsible for providing clerical support to the clinical teams on Delivery Suite and undertaking general administrative duties within the department, including filing, booking appointments and ensuring that case notes are available as and when required. The post holder will be required to provide cover during short periods of staff absence.
To provide reception, telephone & door entry cover to Delivery Suite so that clinical staff can provide appropriate care to patients. To ensure that all patient admissions, transfers, discharges and ward attender episodes are correctly recorded. To ensure that adequate levels of paperwork are available to clinical staff, to make sure that all notes are made available for admissions and outpatient appointments and that all paperwork is filed correctly and in a timely manner.
