Job summary We are looking for passionate, ambitious and motivated individuals to join our Crisis Resolution Team in a newly developed clinical post. We are a dynamic and responsive team who strive to continuously develop and adapt to the needs of individuals, their families and carers in Worcestershire providing compassionate and trauma-informed care when they are at their most vulnerable. This is a new role, you will conduct a variety of tasks including complex case management & complex mental health assessments and care planning as well providing clinical guidance and leadership on a day-to-day basis. You will be integral in the development of the team and the service. The Senior Crisis Clinicians will complete post-graduate study. The shift patterns consist of days and waking nights over a 7-day period including bank holidays, working 13 shifts over a 4-week period Working in the Crisis Resolution Team will bring you variation each shift and provide regular opportunities for internal and external training and development and we support and encourage career progression. Main duties of the job Working for the Crisis Resolution Team means that no two days are the same. The service we provide is critical to those in a mental health crisis and helps enable specialist support from the onset. We promote a proactive and preventative approach when needed to ensure people are getting the right support from the right service. The shifts will be flexible and subject to change as the role is embedded, ensuring the right resources are applied at the right times. You will conduct complex mental health assessment and formulate care plans, as well as leading on complex case management for frequent users or those with complex needs and multi-service engagement. You will support the development of pathways and policies within the service, promoting and embedding change within the team and supporting junior staff with these processes. You will act as co-ordinator, ensuring the workload is managed and the right resources are utilised to optimise patient care. You will develop specialist skills and knowledge through post-graduate study and apply this within the service. You will support and develop team members through reflective practice, supervision and coaching. You will work collaboratively with internal and external services, stakeholders and other professionals, taking a lead in these roles and forums.
