Position: Clinic Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:
Aesthetic Search is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinic Manager on behalf of our client in the aesthetics / healthcare industry. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure that the clinic runs smoothly while adhering to legal regulations and internal policies. This role involves managing staff, improving clinic efficiency, maintaining a high standard of patient care, and serving as the point of contact for regulatory bodies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinic Operations Management:
* Oversee the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
* Implement and monitor operational procedures to improve patient care and clinic performance.
* Ensure all clinic facilities, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and in compliance with regulations.
Staff Management:
* Lead and manage clinic staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
* Ensure staff adherence to clinic policies, protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to ensure high staff morale and productivity.
* Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring that all services meet regulatory and quality guidelines.
* Act as the main point of contact for patient concerns or complaints, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure the clinic operates in full compliance with healthcare regulations, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and other industry standards.
* Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes and update clinic policies accordingly.
* Coordinate with legal counsel and external advisors to interpret and apply new or existing regulations.
Financial and Budget Management:
* Oversee clinic budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled effectively.
* Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for financial growth and operational improvements.
* Develop and implement a risk management program to identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
* Ensure incidents related to compliance or patient care are properly documented, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Prepare and submit reports to senior management, covering operational performance, financials, and any compliance issues.
* Maintain accurate documentation of all clinic operations, audits, and staff training.
Training and Development:
* Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure clinic staff are well-prepared and fully understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Ensure ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a healthcare or clinical setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven experience in staff supervision.
* In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinic operations, and patient care standards.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.
Additional Information:
* Occasional travel may be required to other clinic locations or for training purposes.
* The Clinic Manager is expected to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
