We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team and manage the sales of arable inputs to agricultural business accounts within the Northern England/Southern Scotland Territory.
The successful person will become a trusted strategic partner, working closely with customers to understand their business objectives and offer tailored support. Additionally, you will play a key role in helping the business continue to grow through business development and have opportunities to get involved with mentoring other team members. Therefore, to be successful you will need aa background in agricultural sales and BASIS as a minimum.
Responsibilities:
• Embrace the company's commitment to 'customer centricity', ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do not just focusing on a fast sale.
• Oversee, develop, and manage a portfolio of regional customers, including distributors and end users. Ensuring service levels do not falter from the excellent standards their customers are accustomed to.
• Foster and grow accounts, providing expert technical advice and commercial insights to aid in the development of the customer's business or projects.
• Provide relevant and timely technical advice on products, key features, and application techniques to distributors and end-users.
• Offer guidance on best practices for soil health, demonstrating how products can help achieve optimal soil outcomes.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records utilising the company's CRM system
Business Development Responsibilities:
• Utilise your industry knowledge, technical skills, and network to grow the seed business within your defined region.
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and other events as directed by your line manager, including occasional overnight stays, establishing yourself as an industry thought leader by contributing to relevant discussions, and cultivating speaking opportunities.
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns and events, offering technical expertise as required.
• Identify and evaluate potential business targets using market awareness and in line with company prospecting parameters.
Package will include a generous basic salary, discretionary bonus and company car.
