This role is perfect for someone with a background in mechanical engineering, managing client relationships, and driving business growth. You will be the face of the company for our clients, representing our entire product range, including mobile surface finish testers and 1D/2D height gauges. The Field Sales Representative's Key Responsibilities: Sales Development: Build and develop sales across our full product range to existing and new clients. Client Management: Maintain strong relationships with current clients and support our resale distributors within your area. Product Demonstrations: Provide in-depth product demos, showcasing our mobile surface finish testers and height gauges to clients. Business Growth: Identify opportunities for new business, and work with clients to expand their usage of our products. CRM Management: Log client visits, opportunities, and activities in our CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and follow-ups. Distributor Support: Keep resale distributors informed about product promotions, price updates, and new product offerings. Autonomous Working: Manage your time effectively and efficiently with a blend of home-based work, office visits, and regular client meetings. What Were Looking For: Experience: Proven experience within technical sales/ engineering, client relationship management, and new business acquisition. Self-Motivation: A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, field-based role. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. Organisational Skills: Ability to efficiently manage time and a range of responsibilities. Based in the South of the UK (close proximity to clients, with occasional travel to the office once a week).
