Lovewell Blake is seeking to appoint a detail orientated and proactive Business Analyst to join an innovative, growing Digital Transformation Team team. The centralised Digital Transformation Team delivers technological solutions to all areas of Lovewell Blake and by joining this team you will play a crucial role in assisting with Lovewell Blakes vision of efficient growth and digital modernisation. The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for analysing and documenting existing processes, as well as redesigning these where necessary. Lovewell Blake is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Financial Planners with 5 offices across Norfolk and Suffolk. We are extremely proud to be a top 50 firm and the oldest practice retaining its original name having been formed in 1858. The Digital Transformation Team within Lovewell Blake has been set up to focus on streamlining existing business processes within the organisation to be more efficient and technologically focused. This will be achieved by using a range of new technologies including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Application Programming Interfaces (API’s), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to come on board and take part in the expansion of Digital Transformation Team. The successfully candidate will work closely with stakeholders to create a pipeline of high-impact automation opportunities that align with organisational goals. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days being office based. There will also be occasional travel, such as to the Firm's other offices. Key Responsibilities Host workshops with process owners across the business to gain a detailed understanding of current processes that could benefit from Automation and Digital Transformation, capturing workflows, inputs and outputs Document existing end to end processes in a granular level of detail via a Process Description Document (PDD) Produce detailed process flowchart diagrams for the existing and future processes Analyse business processes to determine their suitability for automation using predefined criteria Assess technical feasibility, ROI potential, and impact on stakeholders for candidate processes Regularly meet with process stakeholders to give progress updates and to get feedback on draft documents and diagrams Design 'Future State’ processes which alleviate pain points in existing processes and are streamlined though the use of one or more technologies used within the Digital Transformation Team Conduct Post Implementation Reviews with impacted stakeholders to obtain feedback on project highlights and areas of improvement Build and maintain a prioritized backlog of automation opportunities Regularly review and update the backlog based on business needs and organizational changes Skills and experience Previous experience as a Business Analyst or within a similar role Proven track record in process analysis or improvement projects Exposure to automation technologies (E.g. UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate) is desirable Logical and structured thinking, ideally with some knowledge of basic programming principles including conditional logic, loops, variable types and reusability Strong Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Proficient with the Microsoft 365 Suite e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio Basic understanding of I.T concepts including Networking, Databases, Client/Server applications, SAAS applications, encryption and security is desirable Strong written and verbal communication skills
