1:1 Teaching Assistant Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a child with additional needs. This role will suit a candidate who has experience of working with children with SEN. The child requires support with speech and language, movement breaks and social interaction both within the classroom and at playtimes. We are looking for someone who has a range of effective, positive behaviour management skills and who has a calm and reassuring nature. The role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. The successful applicant will: Deal with situations calmly and sensitively Maintain a safe and positive environment for all learners Be enthusiastic about pupil's academic and social and emotional needs The ability to effectively support children with differing needs in the classroom.
