Job Title: International Arts Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Arts Manager to oversee the front of house and welcome team at the Young Vic. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to lead a team in providing exceptional customer service to audiences, staff members, contractors, and visitors.
About the Role
The International Arts Manager will be responsible for managing the welcome team and box office, ensuring high standards are achieved and maintained. Key responsibilities include being a strong advocate for the company's anti-racism work, promoting its values, and ensuring inclusion and access for all. The role also involves being proactive in identifying challenges for staff and visitors, facilitating positive relationships between the company, its co-producers, and audience, and contributing to the development of ticketing and pricing policy and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure proficient and effective day-to-day management of the welcome team
2. Facilitate positive relationships between the company, its co-producers, and audience
3. Contribute to the development of ticketing and pricing policy and strategy
4. Help and inform the Young Vic's audience, encouraging people to attend performances, and listening to and monitoring their responses to the company's work
5. Motivate and lead the welcome team with the support of the Deputy Head of Theatre Operations
6. Generate income through the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective marketing and sales strategies
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent leadership and communication skills, a strong understanding of customer service principles, and experience in a similar position. A degree in arts management or a related field would be beneficial.
Salary
