WRK digital are proud to be working with a well-respected client in the FinTech sector who are shortlisting for a React Native Developer to join their team. The business is a Microsoft Certified Partner and winner of The Times “Best Companies to Work For“ recently.
They are going through a company wide tech scale up, including a full website rebuild and a general cultural renovation. There is huge forward momentum here at the moment and it's a great time to join.
The role
1. Producing accessible and responsive frontend UI using Typescript with React/React Native/ Next.JS. Experience with both React Native and React is a must.
2. Integrating cloud services and backend systems, APIS, etc
About You
3. Experience with React 18+, modern React Native (bare CLI), and Next.js 13+
4. Experience with React server components and client components
5. Experience with modern advanced TypeScript
6. Experience with CSS (modern features) and React Native’s styling system
7. Experience with Jest, Jest snapshot testing, and unit testing in general
8. Experience developing native modules for React Native
9. Experience with native platform development (Swift for Apple apps and Kotlin or Java for Android apps)
10. Experience with version control (e.g. Git)
11. Experience or understanding of working in Azure DevOps
12. Experience with CI/CD, linting, code reviews, and other development best practices
13. Experience working with REST APIs
14. Experience working with Atomic Design and similar patterns, and Storybook
15. Experience in Azure Cloud Services
16. Ability to self-motivate and to work well within a team environment
17. Ability to promote innovation in self and others.
The Package
The working arrangements are 2 days per month from their HQ in North Yorkshire, offering 25 days holiday + bank holidays. They are paying up to £45k with a great 8% bonus on top of that. This package includes an above average pension contribution as well as private medical cover. They are also dedicated to the learning and development of their employees, so have a dedicated L&D budget.
