Job summary We are currently looking for a Speciality Doctor for short-term cover in the South Westminster Home Treatment Team, based at the Gordon Hospital. The post is a full time role (10 PA's) consisting of 8.5 PA DCC & 1.5 PA SPA time, with an anticipated start date of 1st of June 2025. Dr Rebecca Hatton is the part time substantive consultant and named clinical supervisor for this post and weekly clinical supervision is provided by Dr Hatton. There is a FY (Foundation Year) doctor on the team and Dr Arabo Shahenian, NWHTT consultant provides cross-cover for the team when Dr Hatton is not around and is named clinical supervisor for this post. Main duties of the job Westminster Home Treatment Team is an acute mental health service that provides an alternative to hospital admission and facilitates early discharge. The team provides intensive management and support to people in the community. Westminster Home Treatment Team has two bases - one in the South of the Borough (at the Gordon Hospital) and the other in theNorth of the borough (Woodfield Road). This role will be based in South Westminster. The doctors provide cross cover in terms of medical support. There may be infrequent occasions where team requests phone advice or assistance in prescribing, if they do not have any doctors available.
