Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to manage and nurture existing client relationships. This is a sales role focused on handling inbound and outbound enquiries, ensuring client satisfaction, and developing accounts further. No cold-calling or new business development is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining strong client relationships.
2. Order Processing: Handle inbound enquiries efficiently, providing timely and accurate information about products, pricing, and delivery timelines.
3. Client Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and expand the range of services provided to existing customers.
4. Outbound Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to ensure their needs are met and address any potential issues.
5. Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and communications within the CRM system.
6. Sector Collaboration: Support clients across various sectors by understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the manufacturing, stockholding, and distribution teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Proven experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
4. Familiarity with sales processes and CRM software is advantageous.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
