Insurance Credit Controller required for a BS1 based business.

Your new role
You will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations and Finance teams in producing accurate and timely reports and information.
1. Match clients' premium payments and underwriters' payments on the ledger.
2. Run and circulate the Aged Debt Report.
3. Manage assigned accounts, discuss issues with underwriters, and flag concerns in internal credit control meetings.
4. Send regular statement chasers to insurers/brokers and resolve queries.
5. Prepare and issue broker commission statements.
6. Investigate and resolve anomalies with assistance from other departments.
7. Raise and issue deductibles.
8. Post journals on Sun and validate banking details.
9. Assist with various month-end reconciliation.
10. Provide ad hoc support to the wider Finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Previous experience with Credit Control duties, including high volume journal posting and cash allocation on accounting software.
2. Excellent grasp of Business Maths and English.
3. IT literate with strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Team player with the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work independently.
6. Good understanding of how debits and credits work.
