How about getting involved in gardening and horticulture at the same time?
Well...we are assisting with a temporary position, based at the beautiful St Fagans National Museum of History, in the Vale of Glamorgan, where you will do just that!
What will you get?
* This is a part time position - 22 hours per week.
* Days of work are flexible and negotiable.
* £12.10 per hour.
* Approx. 3 month temporary contract.
* Option to apply for the permanent position after starting.

What will you do?
* Assist with the day-to-day delivery of the garden project.
* Work with people from the Cardiff area to develop their knowledge of horticulture.
* Provide an opportunity for people to become more independent.
* Promote mental well-being.
* Help reduce dependencies on existing mental health services.
* Talk to service users about the kind of support they need.
* Signpost to other services.
* Support people to access appropriate services.
What do we need?
* Someone with a recent DBS check or a DBS on the update service.
* Experience of supporting vulnerable adults.
* An understanding of how poor mental health can affect people.
* A keen interest in gardening and horticulture.
* Someone who enjoys being outdoors and getting involved in activities.
* You WILL need a car so you can travel to other local projects.
* A person who is understanding, non-judgemental, and compassionate.
