About the role
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the optimisation of sales processes, improving Salesforce usage and enabling the Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to achieve revenue growth. This is a remote position, involving occasional travel to our offices in Wokingham.
This role is instrumental in identifying best practices, ensuring high-quality data management and providing actionable insights that shape the strategic direction of the organisation. By leveraging Salesforce and providing analysis, the Sales Operations Specialist ensures stakeholders have the tools and insights needed to drive efficiency, improve sales velocity and maximise opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assess internal lead quality and Salesforce progression in alignment with group-agreed processes
* Analyse and share successes and challenges related to Salesforce usage, driving improvements and standardisation
* Review and collate data on lost revenue opportunities to provide actionable recommendations
* Audit and review record creation quality, presenting insights to stakeholders to enhance Salesforce utilisation
* Update and deliver Salesforce guidance and training to ensure users are equipped with the skills to maximise system benefits
* Deliver accurate and timely process updates to relevant stakeholders
* Support ongoing data cleansing efforts to maintain Salesforce accuracy and reliability
* Develop and deliver monthly and weekly sales reports in Salesforce
* Provide detailed data and reports to the Head of Sales Operations, FP&A, and Sales Teams
* Report deviations from targets by market, offering analytical data to help GTM teams prioritise growth opportunities
We are looking for:
* In-depth knowledge and hands on experience with Salesforce, with a strong understanding of system capabilities
* Demonstrated understanding of sales processes and challenges, with experience working in or supporting a Sales team
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
* Proven ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business performance
* Meticulous approach to data accuracy and quality, ensuring reliable and high-quality information is available to stakeholders
