In a nutshell…
Our client is a leader in logistic solutions across the UK. Their products are delivered all over the UK to the retail and food manufacturing industry, typically delivering in excess of 15,000 pallets of food and packaging per week.
Our client has continued to expand, providing its services to manufacturers and importers where their business has grown tenfold. Due to this growth, they are now looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to manage and support one of their leading clients on site in Ely.
What's involved for the Logistics Coordinator…
1. Manage the customer orders on a day to day basis
2. Deal with customer queries
3. Communicate with transport head office
4. Maintain records for deliveries
5. Update KPI logs
6. Liaise with and organise on site traffic
7. Manage trailers on site
8. Daily communication with drivers
9. To undertake general transport admin duties
What you'll need…
1. Transport / Logistics Coordinator experience or similar
2. Previous experience dealing with drivers
3. Excellent Microsoft Office experience
4. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels

This is a Full time, permanent Logistics Coordinator role, working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.
