Job summary Upgrade your quality of life We need a new colleague to join the Rheumatology team on the Isle of Wight due to the retirement of one of the two existing whole time Consultants. This post is based exclusively at St Mary's Hospital in Newport. There are no on call commitments. You will be joining our friendly team consisting of 2 full-time equivalent Consultants, 1 Wessex Regional Trainee Doctor, 2 Rheumatology nurse specialists and 2 osteoporosis nurse specialists as well as our great dedicated administrative team. We are looking for a great new colleague to continue to deliver and extend the comprehensive range of Rheumatology and DEXA services that we offer to the island's population. The successful candidate will be supported in developing subspecialty interests and also encouraged to have a direct involvement in the Wessex Deanery specialty training programme as well as supporting the undergraduate training of Medical students from Southampton.
