What the Job Involves The role involves managing financial resources and procedures for SEND, implementing the new Schools Funding Arrangements, and handling finance for SEN and post-16 transport. You'll coordinate and produce data for statutory returns using various tools and administer free school meals eligibility processes. Reporting to the Principal Education Finance Officer, you'd handle SEN delegation, oversee financial processes like income/expenditure management, and deliver budget allocations equitably across educational providers. Tasks involve close collaboration with schools, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with local authority accounting standards.
