As part of our Adult Social Care team, you will support individuals to regain their confidence and independence. In this role, you will help people to lead fulfilling, dignified lives.
The Oakley Day Centre is a purpose-built day service for adults with learning disabilities, offering activities based on Person Centred Plans. Examples of activities include swimming, art, and relaxation.
The Woodlands is an independent service located in the grounds of Oakley Adult Opportunity Centre, catering to adults with learning disabilities, including Autism and complex needs. This role requires experience working with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
You will encourage participation in sessions and activities, develop care plans and risk assessments, and work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
About you:
Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification and hands-on experience working with individuals who have physical, mental health, or behavioural needs. You should be confident in providing personal care and administering medication, as well as being proactive about your professional development.
