UX Owner - Circa £60,000 - Remote - E-Commerce About the Role: As the UX Owner you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of the platform. You'll be responsible for developing seamless, intuitive and engaging digital experiences that not only meet customer needs but also support the business goals. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, driving user research, and applying design strategies to enhance the overall user journey and interface. Key Responsibilities: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with both business goals and user needs. You'll develop user personas, journey maps, and wire frames to drive decision-making throughout the design process. Conduct in-depth user research to uncover customer pain points, needs, and behaviours. Utilise a variety of methods, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to gather actionable insights that inform design decisions. Oversee the design process from creation to execution. Create high-fidelity wire frames, prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma to bring user-centric designs to life. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that designs are not only visually compelling but also technically feasible and aligned with business priorities. Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design solutions. Analyse test results and iterate on designs to continuously improve user experience and usability. Define and track key UX performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of your design solutions. Use these insights to optimise the user experience and demonstrate the value of UX efforts to business stakeholders. Experience designing for international markets, including managing the challenges of localisation and internationalisation of products. Required Experience & Skills: At least 5 years of experience in UX design, ideally within an e-commerce or online marketplace environment. Expert-level proficiency with design tools like Figma and familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UserTesting). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data to drive actionable insights. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with experience presenting design ideas, solutions, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality design solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring, motivating, and guiding other design professionals. A well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates your UX design expertise, showcasing user research, wire frames, prototypes, and final product designs.
