Business Unit Overview:
The FI&A team is responsible for the external and internal reporting of BlackRock's AUM, Net New Business, Revenue, and related analytics. The team calculates AUM, enriches it with pipeline, revenue, client, and market commentary, and provides informative reports to senior management. The team is also involved in firm-wide Revenue forecasting and budgeting, and production of ARMR/Actuals for internal management reporting purposes.
The Finance Information & Analytics team is committed to performance excellence, optimizing its operating model, and advancing its strategic initiatives.
Job Summary
The FI&A team is looking for an individual to:
1. Support and lead the weekly and monthly production processes
2. Identify ways to improve the AUM, Flow, Net New Base Fees, and Sales reporting processes
3. Improve communication with clients and partners, better understand their needs, and help deliver an improved product
4. Display intellectual curiosity and lead automation and data mining/engineering projects
5. Support and lead tactical and strategic initiatives, including data migrations and systems/data integrations
6. Support the on-boarding and reporting of acquired firms
Responsibilities:
1. Support the weekly and monthly production
2. Understand the E2E AUM, Revenue, NNBF process and policy, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
3. Contribute to the development of metrics and control framework to manage and report AUM, Flows, Revenue, and NNBF
4. Develop strong working relationships with clients & partners and identify ways to improve products & service
5. Partner with colleagues in other business areas to build strong end-to-end business processes
6. Support the on-boarding and reporting process for complex assignments
7. Provide oversight and guidance on integrations and migrations of internal and external data and systems
8. Challenge existing processes and policies, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
Skills / Experience:

10. Proficient with Microsoft Excel
11. Experience with VBA and ATX desirable
12. Understanding of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Operations, and Data mining
