Our highly skilled and qualified Inspection and Maintenance Engineers provide a reliable, responsive, and first-class service across the UK, ensuring lifting equipment is safe to use and your legal obligations are fully met.
Do you have the ability to solve problems individually as well as part of a team? Are you a qualified Electrician with a recognised technical qualification and industrial maintenance experience who is comfortable working at height? Right now, we are looking for a Crane Engineer to join our team. If you prioritize safety, then you're just the person we'd like to meet.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists.
2. Understand LOLER and PUWER regulations.
3. Consult with customers post-inspection to ensure next steps are recorded, with prevention of breakdowns as your goal.
4. Anticipate problems before they occur.
5. Involved in frontline maintenance and attending to breakdowns.
6. Carry out fault finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to customers’ cranes and hoists.
Requirements
1. NVQ3, HNC, HND or C&G electrical engineering qualification.
2. Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists.
3. Current UK driving licence.
