Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Location: Prestatyn Full time 37.5 hours per week Permanent Salary: Competitive with a range of exceptional Benefits We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle team based in Prestatyn. The Business Analytics and Performance team support our Revenue Cycle Shared Service business, to monitor and report on operational activity and revenue streams across the business. Using SQL, Power BI and other appropriate tools. We offer evidence and insights to key stakeholders, enabling informed business decisions to be made at pace and with confidence to grow the company, whilst ensuring the patient receives the best possible experience. As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll have the responsibility for the provision of analysis, interpretation and reporting of data and key performance indicators to inform and guide functional areas within Revenue Cycle Shared Services (RCSS.) The role will work to develop and design new information and complex data flows including the development of Dashboards using Power BI, Meditech, SharePoint, and other relevant information systems across RCSS. The purpose of the role must be carried out with the vision to automate (wherever possible) information and performance reporting and analysis into modern tools and software. In order to be successful, you will collaborate with department managers to provide data and information interpretation and analysis in specific business areas, to support effective Revenue Cycle services and deliver material that prepares staff to be successful in performing their role. What you’ll do: Work collaboration with the Business Analytics & Performance Manager, Business Analysts, the Workforce Planning & Productivity team, and department SMEs to develop high quality data reports and dashboards to better understanding the services across RCSS. Work closely with teams within the Centre of Excellence such as Policy & Processes and Learning & Development to employ business analytics guidance and tools to drive informed, decisions and prioritise accordingly to support across the RCSS. Increase the capability to produce value added analytics: to proactively develop insights which support business decision making. Be able to capture business requirements and produce agile reporting and share standard formats and audit tools for services across RCSS. Be able to illustrate the data/reporting in a presentation format which supports situational and stakeholder understanding of performance. Both detailed operational and high level strategic. To use “software” to develop usable ‘operational tools’ which support the management, control and reporting of patient demand to a Proof of Concept level and providing workflow oversight. Collaborates with teams across the UK and US to stay abreast of best practices and implement accordingly to needs within RCSS. Maintain productive communication channels with internal and external stakeholders with strong ability to outline a vision, persuade and influence. Ensure alignment with process stakeholders and seek to gain feedback. Participate actively in hospital and corporate working groups, recommending best practices for Business and Informatics. Be a change agent promoting best practices and continuous improvement within team functions. Ensure Business and Informatics analytics benefits are realised, and risks are transparent and communicated to stakeholders and senior management teams (SMTs). What you’ll bring: Degree level education in STEM subject or equivalent demonstrable experience. Proven experience of information and performance reporting and analysis. Strong technical experience using Microsoft Office products, SQL, Power BI and advanced Excel skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective presentation skills. · Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Deadline and goal oriented with the ability to work under pressure. Proven collaborator with a sense of ownership & accountability. Highly organised and responsive with a strong work ethic.
