Telesales – Ecommerce
We are seeking a versatile individual with solid experience of working in a target driven sales environment to join our growing Ecommerce team. The role is primarily converting potential customers into sales both online and over the phone, handling inbound sales calls and reaching out to potential traders over the phone. Being part of a small close-knit team, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a keenness to learn and be highly motivated. This role is based at our Preston Head Office.
Responsibilities:
* Handling inbound sales enquiries.
* Consistently exceeding quarterly sales targets.
* Making follow up calls to leads generated by social media and websites.
* Converting leads into sales over the phone and online on a consistent basis.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
* Keep up to date records of all contact made to potential and existing customers through our CRM system.
* Making outbound calls to warm leads.
* Creating accurate quotations and Invoicing.
* Liaising with vendors and carriers regarding product deliveries.
* Sourcing new leads through social media and online research.
* Making outbound calls to tradespeople, canvassing our online trade programme.
* Utilising all channels to interact with potential clients. i.e Social media, website, Whatsapp, marketplace, phone calls.
What we look for:
* At least two years’ experience of working in a target driven sales environment, ideally over the phone.
* Experience using CRM software’s.
* Experience with the buyer journey, Lead nurturing and sales pipelines.
* Understanding multiple touchpoints and selling on value, not price.
* Ability to consistently exceed sales targets.
* A positive mindset with a strong hunger for success.
* Excellent numeracy and IT skills.
* Knowledge of social media platforms.
* Experience of using Linkedin as a sales tool.
* Professional and confident telephone manner.
* Ability to understand and adapt to customers’ needs.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
