Role: HR Coordinator
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
Location: Central Support Office, Colchester
Your Role
1. First Point of Contact: Provide guidance and advice on people policies, procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and colleague benefits via email and telephone.
2. Employee Relations Support: Work with HR Advisors to provide guidance on probation periods, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
3. Data Management: Input and maintain accurate colleague information in the HR system, including personal details, job titles, salaries, and benefits. Share data with other system owners as required, e.g., IT.
4. Benefit and Recognition Schemes: Oversee the administrative tasks for initiatives such as the Hapi App, Care Friends, Wellbeing benefits, internal recognition schemes, and pay review processes.
5. Inductions and Engagement: Deliver virtual inductions on colleague benefits to Service Managers and central support colleagues, promoting engagement.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare, collate, and analyse people-related data for monthly reporting and ad hoc needs.
7. Data Integrity and Audits: Ensure accuracy across all HR systems and platforms through regular audits and corrections.
8. HR Compliance: Assist HR Compliance Officers with tasks related to right-to-work checks, sponsorships, and DBS rechecks.
9. Meeting Support: Take notes during meetings, distribute action logs, and ensure timely updates.
10. Administrative Support: Deliver general administrative assistance to the People team.
