Job summary Rotherham With Me In Mind (Mental Health Support Teams) were one of the first national 'trailblazer' sites for developing mental health support teams in schools. This is a exciting time for the team as it continues to develop, expanding its reach to 70% of schools in Rotherham. We work with a mixture of primary, secondary, pupil referral units and special schools. We have a strong partnership with our CAMHS colleagues, working together to ensure that children get the right level of support at the right time. Due to internal progression, we have an exciting opportunity within our Rotherham Mental Health Support Team for a Band 7 Team Leader. As a team leader you will work alongside another established team leader and be responsible to the clinical lead. The Team Leader will support practitioners in both education and health settings to support children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems using evidence-based interventions. The post holder will be visible and support the day to day running of the team, and will demonstrate an understanding of the MHST model, service development and have some leadership experience. Main duties of the job To ensure the Mental Health Support Team is delivered in line with national guidance and to provide support to the clinical lead in the effective day to day management of the team within the resources available and agreed governance frameworks 1.2 To provide support to the clinical lead to meet the aims and objectives of the service including deputising and delegated responsibilities. 1.3 To ensure that all referrals in to the pathway are allocated and responded to in a timely manner in line with service KPIs and the national framework 1.4 To ensure effective working delivery of a consultation and advice model for education settings in a timely manner.
