About the Role: This exciting position is ideal for someone who can combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding market share across Europe by identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Act as a brand ambassador, representing high-quality engineering solutions to new and existing clients across Europe. Develop and grow long-term client relationships, with a particular focus on the automotive industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, from lead generation through to closing. Analyse customer samples and weld tests to recommend appropriate technical solutions. Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and other key documentation. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy. Attend trade events, exhibitions, and client meetings across Europe. Work closely with internal engineering, service, and leadership teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Assist with strategic planning and support EU sales operations. Ideal Candidate Profile: Qualifications: HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience: Proven background in business development or technical sales within the engineering or automotive sectors. Strong commercial awareness and confidence in negotiating contracts and closing deals. Experience working in a pan-European capacity and managing client accounts. Familiarity with resistance welding systems or industrial automation is a plus. Additional Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong project management and organisational abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
