As a PastoralManager you’ll take the lead in enabling your team to meet ouryoung peoples’ emotional needs. Our young people have challengingcomplex emotional and behavioural needs [AutisticSpectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health]and need more support than most. You’ll make sure they get it byapplying high standards of care. It means working with families anddeveloping programs for each individual young person. With carefulassessment and planning, you’ll create a positive learningenvironment where every young person canthrive.
With experienceworking with young people with BESD or ASD in a school or caresetting you will understand our young people’s developmental needsand what pastoral care entails. A good listener who can motivateyour team, you inspire young people to achieve. Flexibility, goodorganizational skills and the ability to successfully manage a teammeans you’ll be an asset to the WitherslackGroup.
