The role
We are seeking to recruit an individual to work within Middlesbrough Council Social Care catering team for Adults with Profound Learning Disabilities and Complex health needs.
Applicants should be motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and creative and able to use their own initiative to enhance the prevision of a catering service.
The role will incorporate:
Leading the catering within the Orchard.
Provision of a varied and creative catering menu to meet individual specific dietary/cultural needs.
To co-ordinate the planning and ordering of food in line with an allocated budget.
To maintain and apply food standards and Health and Safety regulations for working within a kitchen environment.
Working flexibly to support the needs of the service (Monday- Friday)
All applicants must have a minimum QCF (previously NVQ) Level 2 in Catering or equivalent and food hygiene certificates.
