Your role
You will be responsible for maintaining productivity and engagement levels within the pharmacy support assistants team, performing and delegating tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth daily operations relating to stock receipt, stock put away, stock location organisation and housekeeping, dispatch, and asset management. You will be responsible for the line management of the pharmacy stores team whilst demonstrating ambassadorship of the Pharmaxo values.
Your duties & responsibilities
* Maintain productivity and engagement levels within the pharmacy support assistant team; ensuring skill mix and competence in line with company procedures.
* Accurate receipt of stock within SLA to ensure up-to-date reflection of stock position.
* Perform and coordinate tasks to ensure daily workload is achieved efficiently.
* Accountable for managing behaviors and conduct within the pharmacy support assistant team.
* Fully accountable for good maintenance of all storage areas (in line with GDP standards) and stock management:
* Weekly stock reconciliation.
* Stock rotation.
* All stock locations standards.
* Consumable re-order points.
* Stock take preparation.
* Report on performance/output data.
* Deliver monthly 1-2-1s and 100% of PDRs (within 30 business days of due date) in line with company policy.
* Co-ordinate assets and returns process .
* Proactive support of Pharmacy Manager with regards to:
* Succession planning
* Capacity planning
* Growth planning
* Conduct training sessions on procedures, working with the quality team to ensure timely delivery of training.
* Facilitating service implementation and system deployment.
* Triage annual leave and absence requests at manager’s discretion.
* Creation of stores rota
* Out of hours support where applicable.
* Active involvement with management of stock-taking alongside the Pharmacy Manager and Assistant Manager.
* Any other tasks requested by members of the management team.

Benefits
* Annual salary: £29,000
* Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
* Annual company bonus scheme (subject to scheme eligibility)
* Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
