Job Description As a Thermoforming Setter, you’ll play a key role in operating and maintaining our thermoforming production lines to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Reporting to the Thermoforming Shift Leader, you’ll work hands-on with advanced machinery, including Illig and Kiefel thermoforming machines, contributing to high-quality output and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Starting up, running, and shutting down thermoforming machines. Performing full tool changes, insert changes, and paperwork changes within standard times. Operating and maintaining inline systems, including extruders, padding machines, punch units, and glue systems. Ensuring product quality meets customer specifications and promptly addressing any defects. Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns or stoppages, escalating issues when required. Recording accurate production and quality data on our ERP system (M3). Cleaning and conducting routine maintenance on machinery. Supporting team members and shift leaders to meet production and efficiency targets. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, involving hands-on technical tasks in a manufacturing setting.
