HR Transformation Programme Manager
Hybrid (Office based in South Wales, attendance twice per month)
12-Month Contract - £400 p/day (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Transformation Programme Manager to lead a strategic People Transformation Programme within a public sector organisation based in Wales. This high-profile role will oversee key areas such as workforce planning, budgets, enabling services, recruitment processes and leadership and management training.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of the HR Transformation Programme, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
* Shape and implement governance frameworks to support effective decision-making and risk management.
* Analyse and interpret complex workforce data to drive evidence-based recommendations and initiatives.
* Oversee recruitment and workforce planning to ensure a future-ready workforce.
* Lead on the development and implementation of leadership and management training programmes to enhance organisational capability.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that HR best practices are embedded within the organisation.
* Drive cultural and operational change, ensuring transformation initiatives are successfully adopted.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in leading HR transformation programmes within complex public sector organisations.
* Strong ability to drive and embed change at a strategic level.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the latest HR best practices and trends.
* Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
* Experience in shaping governance frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Proficiency in analysing and interpreting complex workforce data to inform strategic decisions.
* Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels within a public sector environment.
