The Role
We are recruiting for an Insights & Intelligence Team Lead to drive our customer projects and manage the Insights and Intelligence team within Consulting.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Consulting, the Insights & Intelligence Team Lead will perform a split role, where an average of 80% of the time will be working on customer projects, translating business strategy into business change and technical enablement which will result in the delivery of insight assets, ranging from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Data Visualisation and Analytics, leading to noticeable improvement on the clients ability to measure situations, forecast events and establish optimal courses of action. In addition to the work on customer projects, an average of 20% of the time will be allocated to manage the insights and intelligence team where the Insights & Intelligence team lead will be responsible for the discrete line management and development of several team members, including the definition and creation of methods, accelerators and artefacts driving the consistency and innovation on client intelligence and insights engagements.
Success in the role will be measured by a continuous increase of the team satisfaction and an expansion of the sales pipeline and associated headcount growth, driven by the successful adoption of methods, accelerators and artefacts in conjunction with the wider consulting team, marketing and sales department.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Full Ownership of the Insights and Intelligence projects for our clients
* Lead delivery of insights and intelligence-oriented projects involving one or more domains from data insights and visualisation, artificial intelligence, data science and/or machine learning.
* Derive and articulate value of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to transform client operations.
* Orchestrate and coordinate the delivery of insights and intelligence artefacts to meet discrete business and technical strategies, vision and business goals.
* Develop backlogs for continuous modernization of large-scale intelligence and insights platforms, coordinating with peers, seniors and client stakeholders.
* Design and implement machine learning algorithms.
* Design and implement LLM, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning and Generative AI such as ChatGPT.
* Design and implement Computer Vision solutions and algorithms.
* Design and Deliver enterprise level use cases using Generative AI, such as Chat GPT and its employment under a benefit driven approach to clients in a consulting environment.
* Employ AI and ML frameworks, tools, and platforms such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
* Design and implement data visualisation artefacts, ranging from dashboards and reports to 3-D visualisations employing a range of platforms.
* Establish and implement data analytics solutions and platforms.
* Conduct analysis over data estates and landscapes.
* Lead and contribute to pre-sales engagements in intelligence and insights areas.
Management of the Insights and Intelligence Team
* Maintain line management and mentoring responsibilities for several Insights & Intelligence team members, measured through high engagement and satisfaction indicators.
* Maintain regular touch base interactions with immediate line management, proactively and timely resolving any staff issues and or needs and support their career development.
* Expand the consulting culture across the Insights & Intelligence team, driving a culture of cross and up-sell across the team as part of the client engagement and activities.
* Develop a community of practice and establish cooperative ways of working, resulting in improved cross support between team members and an increase of success showcase in external conferences.
* Drive the creation of relevant frameworks, methods and accelerators (in conjunction with capability leads, marketing and sales team) resulting in a continued increase in efficiency of client Insights & Intelligence engagements resulting in an expansion of Insights & Intelligence work pipeline and associated team headcount.
* Manage team capacity and drive forward hiring and capacity plans with head of consulting.
* Support sales and marketing initiatives by raising the profile of the Insights & Intelligence team, its members and their associated experience.

Core Competencies
* Industry Knowledge
o Extensive knowledge of Envitia’s customer base with a deep understanding of the complexity and challenges they face.
o Deep knowledge of secure and regulated environments, particularly Defence and Government departments.
* Technical Expertise
o Strong Machine Learning algorithm knowledge (supervised, unsupervised and reinforced).
o Large knowledge and experience of LLM’s, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning and Generative AI.
o Experience of Data Modelling and Analytics solutions and platforms.
o Large experience in data visualisation solutions and platforms, ranging from dashboarding tools to 3D visualisation platforms.
o Experience in one or more data modelling approach (RDBMS, NOSQL) & integration methods (REST, SOAP).
o Large experience in at least one cloud provider (AWS / Azure / GCP).
o Experience in an Architect role would be desirable.
