Job summary This is a permanent, part time post (18.75 hours) worked across Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekends. The service requires a highly specialist Speech & Language practitioner to plan, develop and co-ordinate the Speech and Language Therapy service to young people within a youth justice setting. This post is based at Leigh Town Hall but will require working within the community. Substantial specialist experience is required This is a development post open to those at Band 6-7 level. Starting salary will be set at the point closest to or matched at existing salary and support provided to progress towards and through Band 7. Main duties of the job To deliver highly specialist clinical work as part of the multidisciplinary team. This includes working with young people within a youth justice setting. To provide highly specialist multi-disciplinary clinical input to Wigan Youth Justice Service and work alongside other SLTs working within Youth Justice.
