About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an IT Team Leader to join us on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll join the iFaces Support team which provides second line support for the iFaces system. You’ll play a key role in managing a team of technical professionals that provide support to iFaces in a fast-paced environment, whilst triaging related systems. You’ll ensure the team remain committed to resolving issues and delivering requests, whilst continuing to provide an excellent level of service to the business. You’ll manage relationships with our third-party suppliers, ensuring we maintain an effective working relationship with them, report any inconsistencies in performance, and manage any concerns. Using your resource management skills, you’ll ensure the team is well equipped to cope with peaks in demand and you’ll ensure our third-party suppliers are meeting expectations, whilst playing a key role in building relationships with teams across the business. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, manage, and motivate your direct reports so that they know what is expected, maximising their contributions to business objectives, and helping them to realise their potential. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate they can lead, influence, and facilitate relevant two-way communications to ensure that information is delivered in an effective, appropriate, and timely manner to promote holistic, quality understanding and collaborative work, as well as ensuring that stakeholders are engaged.About youAs an IT Team Leader, you’ll have excellent organisation skills and be able to manage various priorities. You’ll be adept at setting and managing deadlines and able to work with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll ideally have experience of line management, and you’ll also have: Resource management experience. An understanding of Agile ways of working. Experience managing a technical support team.
