Job Overview
We are going through an exciting period of positive change at RWT and we are looking to grow our services and our teams. As a radiographer, you will be an integral part of patient care and the journey through radiology. We are committed to your professional growth with opportunities for early access to specialty training, postgraduate training, and student development roles.
You must have a degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the HCPC. Recent NHS experience or equivalent is required.
Hours will include nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Main Duties of the Job
As a diagnostic radiographer, you will rotate through all areas of plain imaging radiology, including ED, fracture clinic, main x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres, mobile x-ray, dental imaging, and heart and lung outpatients. You will work at both the New Cross and Cannock CDC sites to support our full range of services.
You will provide excellent patient care and high standards of diagnostic imaging either independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the patient's journey throughout their attendance.
There will be opportunities to train in cross-sectional imaging as a band 5, allowing structured access to band 6 positions when available.
Our service is provided over an extended working day, including weekends and bank holidays, and you will be expected to participate in a flexible working pattern.
