My client is looking for a hardware component engineer to work on aerospace date recorders and recognise fault finding. The role will be working onite in Bournemouth 3 days per week. The role will involve
1. Electronics fault-finding and repair to component level
2. Knowledge of Digital, Analogue and Microcontroller based circuitry
3. An aptitude for mechanical engineering and problem solving (but primarily Electronics biased)
4. A structured, methodical approach
5. A flexible approach to working - Able to adapt to situations as part of a dynamic team
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook)
7. A positive, can-do attitude
8. Previous experience in Avionics, Aerospace or other highly regulated industry
1. Good communication skills - Able to discuss technical matters with customers effectively
2. Practical, hands-on engineering - Capable of repairing and maintaining electronic equipment
