You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. The team are looking for a Head of Strategic Initiative Planning, Governance and Monitoring/Head of PMO to join their operations team to play a critical role in ensuring the rapid execution, oversight, co-ordination and enablement of the company’s portfolio of strategic initiatives globally. You will also lead the facilitation of overall governance for initiatives with a focus on streamlining processes and establishing standardised processes.
Main responsibilities:
* Enterprise value delivery framework: Implement an idea to outcome delivery framework that takes idea generation within the business through to delivery and outcome realisation
* Governance and oversight: Establish and manage the overall governance for initiatives
* Strategic portfolio management: Oversee the annual planning and ongoing prioritisation of strategic demand
* Operating model improvements: Lead the delivery of ongoing continuous improvement across capabilities of transformation and change management delivery function
* Stakeholder communication and reporting
* Leadership: Manage a small team with 2 direct reports

Requirements:
* Extensive experience working in an Enterprise Portfolio Management office role with global experience
* Strong c-level stakeholder management
* Experience delivering across large complex portfolios of work
* Extensive experience in program and project standards, governance and methods including Agile ways of working
* Proven experience working within a matrix environment
* Leadership/management experience
* Financial services/regulated large enterprise industry background
