As an EVORIAN, you will take on a hands-on role, supporting all facets of IT operations, infrastructure, cyber security, user support, and business systems administration. You will be pivotal in managing external vendors, ensuring compliance with our ISO27001 certified information security management system, and safeguarding our sensitive data. We seek someone with a deep understanding of cyber security principles, industry best practices, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Cyber Security:
1. Implement cyber security controls to safeguard EVORA's network, systems, and data.
2. Monitor and assess cyber security risks, vulnerabilities, and incidents; implement proactive measures to minimise exposure.
3. Collaborate with external vendors to ensure robust security measures and compliance with data privacy standards.
Microsoft Azure Administration:
1. Expertise in Azure services (Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Security).
2. Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure resources for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
3. Utilise Azure DevOps, automation tools, and best practices for cloud infrastructure management.
Microsoft 365 Management:
1. Manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business).
2. Configure and enforce security policies using Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Centre.
3. Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions, ensuring seamless integration with organisational policies.
Compliance and Data Privacy:
1. In-depth knowledge of Azure Security Centre and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
2. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
3. Monitor adherence to security policies to maintain compliance.
Hardware Inventory and Lifecycle Management:
1. Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware assets (servers, workstations, networking equipment).
2. Track hardware lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
3. Establish and manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement and maintenance.
Configuration and Deployment:
1. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot hardware components to meet organisational needs.
2. Use imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) for consistent device setup.
3. Manage hardware configurations in line with security and compliance requirements.
Asset Management and Reporting:
1. Utilise asset management tools to monitor hardware usage and manage inventory levels.
2. Generate detailed reports on asset status, utilisation, and depreciation for budgeting and planning.
3. Implement asset management policies for proper use, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware.
Wider Support:
1. Assist in the logistics of the business enablement function across our locations.
2. Manage our fixed hardware infrastructure across our UK locations.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

3. Knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.
4. Strong understanding of network and system architecture, including cloud environments.
5. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
6. Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
Experience Required:
1. Extensive experience in IT operations, cyber security, and business systems management.
2. Proven experience in business systems analysis, implementation, and administration.
3. Strong understanding of business processes and system solution translation.
4. Proficiency in system integration methodologies, data migration, and change management.
5. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other business applications.
6. Experience in managing external vendors and service providers.

Hybrid Remote:
